   We have merge replication and we no longer need replication. when we are trying to delete a article the transactional log is being filled up. Can some one help me on this.

   Devide your deletion in smaller chunk,i.e. 100000 rec. in one time; and schedule T-Log backup to keep your T-Log in shape.
