DBCC TRACEON(208)

    We updated a server to 2005 this weekend got the problem with DBCC TRACEON(20<img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-11.gif' alt='8)' /> and excel 200? Do need to give sysadmin rights to user to run excel or are the any kb, or any other way to solve the problem for the users.<br /><br />"User 'public' does not have permission to run DBCC TRACEON"

    The applications in the organisation were recorded macros, out of the it departments control <img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-5.gif' alt=';)' /> . To solve the problem with made search and replace APP=#%92Microsoft® Query#%92 to APP=#%92#%92. Updated excel.
