Initially my source server was running on 2005. We had a extract job from our system to pull the data. It was running for 20 mins. Now the source server has been upgraded to 2008. Now th same job takes close to 1 hr for execution. can u pls let me know what all could lead to increase in time in 2008.
    thanks - SSK

    Welcome to the forum!
As one of the best practice, have you performed rebuild of indexes & update statitics once the data is upgraded from 2005 to 2008.
BTW what is the hardware and are you running on a VM?
