   My organization is running distriubtor on the production server. will moving it to another dedicated server have benefits and is there any drawbacks and what kind of draw backs will be there. we are using SQL2k . I will be highly thankful if you guys help. Thanks.

   Drawbacks in dedicated server?, none if new one is powerful than actual.
   After all was moved, just run full update statistics.
   May be I don't follow the question.
