    Paragraph 2 has the most interesting point:<br /><br />"SQL Server 2005, which will launch the week of Nov. 7"<br /><br />This is the first I have heard of a launch date - does anyone know if this is official?? I was beginning to expect a re-branding to SQL Server 2006 <img src='/community/emoticons/emotion-5.gif' alt=';)' /><br /><br />

    Plus the first SQL 2005 Benchmark has been released (TPC rules mean MS must release SQL 2005 within 6 months of the benchmark). It's back in the top-10 tpcc with a 1million tpc score.
