Hello, I have been having problems with my transaction logs growing too big. I am using litespeed, but it seems as soon as they get over 2 gigs the Litespeed job freezes up. THEY claim it is a problem with the MS native command. Anyways, I am looking for a script or a some way to backup the trans logs, truncate them and then free any space bringing them back to their default size. Please help. Thanks J
I`ve moved to 3rd party tools. I suggest to ask Quest about litespeed. Take a look of backup transaction log in BOL.
