Has anyone out there used a piece of software called Log Parser before? I am trying to import out IIS log files into a sql server database, so that we can report on them using sql server report writer. Has anyone managed to do this before? If yes, could you please tell me how you managed to do it? Thanks Jason
Yes it is a good tool to manage such logs on day to day basis, I have referred tohttp://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/3515886 &http://www.logparser.com/Repository.htm previously. We decided today to develop a new solution that will fit better the business requirements in regards of web log analisys and reporting. Would have been nice to have something like Project REAL on BI, but for the moments there is none.
