I have Transactional Replication running between 2 DBs on the same server, Publisher,Subscriber and Distributor are on the same server. We are moving all our DBs to a new and faster SAN, including the 2, I am replicating.
Which is the best way to move them without disrupting replication or having to take it down and recreate it ? How can I move the Distribution DB?
    Thanks,

You can do backup and restore with WITH MOVE option
Before backup Stop the SQL Agent and stop all replication agents and restore and start all the agents...
You can also try using ALTER DATABASE command...but I never tested...before you do the following stop all replication agents and sql agent.
    Moving Database Files (BOL)
      • Run ALTER DATABASE database_name SET OFFLINE.
    • Move the file to the new location.

      • Run ALTER DATABASE database_name MODIFY FILE ( NAME = logical_name, FILENAME = 'new_path/os_file_name'.

        • Run ALTER DATABASE database_name SET ONLINE.
