We currently have a 2 node 3 instance cluster that is affectionately known as SQL1SQL1, SQL2SQL2 and SQL3SQL3.

We are about to start setting up our 2005 cluster and begin a database by database migration to the new version.

I need some new names so if you other clustering folks could post the names of your clusters for reference/ideas I would be much appreciative...

thanks

In general we name the servers based on their Georgraphical location, you can take such reference by limited the servername to 11 characters for easy remembrance. For the virtual server we add VIR to locate the instance.
