Performance issue with Reports

<p>Hi All</p><p>We have architect of call data reports. </p><ul><li>Production database server</li><li>Clone server (that have only read only access) on which data replicated on 30 secs intervals</li><li>Web server</li></ul><p>Real Time, half hourly, agent states etc... data must come from clone server and historical data coming from production db server. To make this happen we have Linked server for Clone database on production server. As we have read only access to the clone server we are not allowed to carry any rebuild index, integrity or statistics update check etc... tasks. </p><p>We use this linked server refers in the T-SQL within SPs. when I tune this SPs..it shows high percentage cost of T-SQL for linked server side and bad news is.. i can not tune T-SQL part of linked server side. we are using functions as well and these functions are using in multiple SPs.
