No there is no special requirement to post in the forum once you have logged on [], drop an email to webmaster@sql-server-performance.com to create a login for Weblog where you can post your references (a blog site reference for you) and then refer same in Forum announcement stating so and so....

Satya SKJ
Microsoft SQL Server MVP
Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com

This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of knowledge sharing.
The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.

Would be a "better" fit in the forum announcements forum, methinks. []

--
Frank Kalis
Moderator
Microsoft SQL Server MVP
Webmaster:http://www.insidesql.de

Having that in a WEBLOG with a post in Forum announcement is more relevant, I feel [].

Satya SKJ
Microsoft SQL Server MVP
Writer, Contributing Editor & Moderator<br /http://www.SQL-Server-Performance.Com

This posting is provided AS IS with no rights for the sake of knowledge sharing.
The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.

I have moved this to the Forum Announcements topic. Jude is working on an improved Weblog feature for the website. I am looking forward to it so I can better share what I am learning.

Thats right - I've been playing with the blogs functionality of Community Server for a little while now. I will probably wait until CS 3.0 is released at the end of Q1 before rolling this out onto the fourm. The main advantage of the new version of CS blogs will be the skinning flexibility - skinning choices are currently a bit limited and it is tricky to create new skins.

I'd like a blog myself to let all the users know what is going on with the site and the plans for the future.

I know CS is really good for Blog software even I have my own version on my PC, which I play sometimes.
