Remote Agent Activation and Pull Subscriptions

    Is remote agent activation is effective than using a typical agent activation running on the subscriber machine?

    Yes the remote agent activation is useful than typical agent activation, as Remote agent activation allows you to offload agent activity to the Subscriber, which reduces the amount of processing on the Distributor. Using DCOM, you can activate the agent remotely and increase the number of push subscriptions the Distributor can handle.
