REPAIR SQL SERVER INSTANCE

    hi all,
    i want to repair an SQL Server 2005 SP2 installation. Do i proceed with a normal repair using an SQL SERVER INSTALLATION (NO S,PACKS) orany recommended way?

    till Repairing the sql installation & applying service pack once agian is fine.. but what problem do you see in current installation, if it was working fine before.?

    What kind of problems you have with SP2 right now and how it was on SP1

    for the same old Agent Issue Server. I was thinking of Re-installing the SQL Instance.

    Ok, that means even SP2 didn' fixed.
    In this case if you are prepared for downtime and taken full backups then go ahead, but still I would like to submit to PSS for further information or fix why this is happening on thsi box alone.
