Required Urgently: SQL Server DBA

LiveOffice.com has an immediate opening for the position of a SQL Server DBA/Architect.

JOB TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server/ Database Administrator

JOB SUMMARY:
LiveOffice Corp., headquartered in Torrance California, is a fast growing and dynamic technology company specializing in Email Archiving and Compliance Solutions. We are seeking a Microsoft SQL Server DBA to work in a high transaction, clustered server environment.

RESPONSABILITIES
Company seeks extremely talented and experienced DBA who can continue TO maintain and support current architecture and facilitate development of future modules and functionality. This person will be responsible for overall system database, backup, mirroring, clustering and hands on coding of portions of the application.

REQUIREMENTS
•Must be highly self-motivated
•Possess demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
•5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience
•Working experience with VLDB's (300GB+) in a high transaction environment (100+ transactions per second)
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•System requires 24/7 availability and must scale to handle heavy database loads.

We are seeking applicants that have a proven track record of working in environments similar to the above. Preferably individuals located in Los Angeles however, if your skills match our needs, we will consider qualified candidates from outside the Los Angeles area.

COMPENSATION:
$75,000/yr. DOE, DOQ.
