Can anyone help me understand how many always on groups can be stored, and where? The trainer we had didn't really know SQL 2012 and confused the whole class.

Is there a simple link that explains this easily?

e.g. One question I am unclear on is - Can multiple Always On Groups reside on the same instance?

also, does each replica need to be stored on a separate node?
