Hello, I have SQL 2012 Mirroring with witness - SERVER1 and SERVER2. If I launch SQL Management studio on SERVER1 and connect to instance SERVER1\SQL1 everything seems ok, but if connect to SERVER2\SQL2 from SERVER1 HDD consumption services.exe rise to approximate 1MB/s and won't stop (only restart helps). Even if database is not in use at all by anybody. It's similar to SERVER2 and connection to SERVER1\SQL1. Mirror Monitor looks quite nad resources from windows task manager looks quite. Only services.exe consumpts about 800 KB/s. Is it normal?

It seems weird but what about network connectivity performance between the 2 servers …? What about NIC speed at each of them..? Are their drivers latest updated …? I do think some network connectivity incident exists at either the servers themselves or Network connections may be behind this consumption
