    Hi All,

i wish to get answer for the following
    1. Can we change the SQL license of the already installed SQL server. Scearion is, we are leasing teh SQL enterprise server license from a third party and now we wishes to put our own license. Is there any way to do it. If so can you please let me know the procedure to do it.

I will appreciate all the inputs.

If you need to change it completely I think you need to resinstall. If you need to change licensing mode you could use this:http://www.tkdinesh.com/faq/ans/license.html
Thanks for the information, it is per processor license, what i need to dois to remove the existing license and add the new one.

So if this works, you would change the # of processors to 0, continue, rerun the license manager, change #processors to 1, and provide the new license info?

Is that what worked for you, or did you have to reinstall?

    Thanks,
    Sean.

IN SQL server 2000 you will have only one opportunity to change the license mode otherwise you need to reinstall the binaries setup again.
