    Hi all,
Regarding views I have a question, when I create a view on a table and if try to delete the records from the view its deleting the records from the base table and I want to restrict the rows being deleted from the base table how can I do that and also restrict inserts updates being affected to the base table.

put that table in relation with other table. Next time if you will try to update the data using view, it will throw error because of dependency.

Not sure if I understand you correctly...
Revoke INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE permissions from the table and grant only SELECT on the view.
