windows user account able to access the test server and able to access all databases

hi
we created an windows account for our testing purpose and it has the same group policy like other people have and this user is having an admin rights to the development/test box like alter the table, insert and modify table , stored proc etc..but this user account is not able to access the production boxes and i am confused where the account got setup to have all the rights in the test box..anyhelp is really appreciated..

May be it is the member of local administrators group....
Check in computer management...
Right Click MyComputer/Manage/Expand Local users and groups/groups/Administrators.
