Step 10 – Cluster Administrator Account

In the Remote Information dialog box, enter account information used to configure and administer the server cluster. Click Next.

Step 11 – Instance Name Configuration

In the Instance Name dialog box, click Default to make the installation the default instance, or leave it unchecked and enter a distinct name for the instance in the Instance name entry box. Click Next to continue.

Step 12 – Storage Configuration

In the Destination Folder area of the Setup Type dialog box, verify that the Program Files location is set to a valid local drive on each node (for example, C:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server) and that the Data Files location is set to the drive selected on the Cluster Disk Selection dialog box. If you want to configure a specific directory on the drive for the data, click the Browse button. Click Next.

Step 13 – Service Account Configuration

In the Service Accounts dialog box, select either “Use the same account for each service” or “Customize the settings for each service.” In the Password box type the appropriate password. Confirm the Username, Password, and Domain are set to the proper values. If you selected Customize the settings for each service, you will need to enter a Username, Password, and Domain for both the SQL Server and SQL Server Agent services. Click Next.

Step 14 – Authentication Mode

In the Authentication Mode dialog box, select either Windows Authentication Mode or Mixed Mode. If Mixed Mode is selected, enter a password for the sa account. Click Next.

Step 15 – Start Copying Files

In the Start Copying Files dialog box, click Next.
