User Interface Support
There is no native interface
to support Extended Events. However, there is an add-in available in Codeplex
called Extended Events
Manager. After installing this, there will be an add-in in the SQL Server
Management Studio which allows you to perform all the operations in the GUI.
There is an option in Extended
Events Manager to view all the Extended Data metadata in a tree view:
Similarly, you can create
sessions and start them immediately:
