We need some log entries upon which to base the work of the Usage-Based Optimization Wizard in our practice example, so we will populate the table with some rows in a “quick and dirty” manner – by doing quick manipulations of the data in the cube. To do this, we need first to process the cube, as the copy we have created also brought no history of processing along – for the same reasons it is “log-less.”
12. Right-click the new SSPerf_Warehouse cube.
13. Select Edit from the context menu that appears, as shown in Figure 10.

The Cube Editor opens.
14. Click the Process Cube button, on the right side of the toolbar, atop the Cube Editor.

The Select the Processing Method dialog appears, as depicted in Figure 12.

Full Processing is the default, as the SSPerf_Warehouse cube has never been processed, from the perspective of history.
